Design Museum Magazine

The Publication
Seven essays on the intersection of design and policing by over a dozen designers, scholars, and activists, and writers + a letter from the guest editor, questions from readers feature, recommended resources from the authors feature, and illustrations for each essay.

What I Did
I conceived and wrote an editorial proposal for this special issue of the magazine. On approval, I researched and selected writers who would contribute multi-dimensional perspectives on the intersections of design and policing. With support from the publisher, I selected and art directed the illustrators for each article.

This marked the first instance in which a guest editor took complete control of the magazine.
